There are many Ocean Beaches in the United States, but none of them have what Ocean Beach Fire Island has. Ocean Beach, Fire Island, is located near the middle of the Island between Ocean Bay Park and Atlantique. Ocean Beach has many more facilities than just about every other community on Fire Island including schools, hotels, restaurants and more. Ocean Beach is the closest thing to a city that you will find on the shores of Fire Island. This is in stark contrast to communities like Kismet and Saltaire where services are few and far between.
