If you are looking for a great place to spend an afternoon, on the deck, in the sun, overlooking the Great South Bay, Tequila Jack’s is your spot. The margaritas at Tequila Jack’s are pretty darn good, I have sampled them on a number of occaisions and they are always great. Getting there is a little different. If you have a boat, you can pull right up to their private dock and tie up for free. You can also take a water taxi, but be warned, South Bay Water Taxi does NOT like to come in there and pick you up. If you call one, be sure to wait ON THE DOCK or they will most likely do a fly by and leave you there for another round. You can also walk there, but that will probably not be how you want to go home after a few margaritas. The food at Tequila Jack’s is also great and I believe they have a little hotel upstairs. So, worst case scenario, you can just stay there and do it all again the next day!
