Just wanted to talk a little about my favorite community on Fire Island, the Village of Saltaire. The Village of Saltaire was the first incorporated village on Fire Island, and this is probably why this community is as clean, quiet and pristine as it is today. I see the Village of Saltaire under more and more pressure to change as the people that inhabit the village increase and change over the years. But, Saltaire is still one of the most amazing places on the face of the earth that I have been and it is something that everyone really should experience once in their lives. Hopefully, the people that live and make decisions in town will keep an eye towards the future and be able to keep Saltaire what it has been and still is to this day.
